Yesterday when I decided to set up a poll to see who was our readers favourite Archie I had no idea what a monster I was unleashing for myself just keeping up with the approval of the comments was a major task in itself let alone tracking the voting.
Wow what a tussle it has been between team Northlakes and team Trangie
Hailing from the NSW Central Coast on team Northlakes we had the very special Tenille Dowie who together with her students channelled the complex and undervalued in his lifetime ( aren’t we all – not that we all cut off an ear to make the point ) character that was Van Gogh
On the other hand we had the Trangie Central School from NSW heartland who managed to pull of this masterpiece with just a school of 64 students. Wow how impressive is this.
With almost 1000 Facebook shares and close to 100 tweets it came down to the wire with team Northlakes just piping Team Trangie at the post.
So a huge congratulations to Team Northlakes the 2013 Archibull Prize People’s Choice Award winners
Now sadly for Team Trangie just been piped at the post has been the story of their week (you will see what I mean in my next post)
